Kobudo World Championship 2026

The tournament will bring together representatives of various Kobudo schools and federations, as well as Okinawan and Japanese martial arts organizations, who will demonstrate their skills in traditional weapons handling and technical disciplines.

Championship Program:

• Individual and team competitions;
• Kata performances with traditional weapons;
• Sparring matches and demonstration performances;
• Seminars and master classes conducted by leading masters;
• International exchange of experience between schools and organizations.

Objectives of the Event:

• Preservation and promotion of Kobudo traditions;
• Development of international cooperation among federations;
• Improvement of the technical level of athletes and instructors;
• Strengthening cultural ties through martial arts.

The historic atmosphere of Italy’s Lazio region and the medieval castles of Montalto di Castro will create a unique setting for a world-class championship.
